Daniel Rolnik Gallery will have a booth at the 2016 LA ZINE FEST.
L.A. Zine Fest is organized by a collective of zine-enthusiasts dedicated to promoting zine culture as a means to connect the pre-exisiting communities in L.A.–artistic or otherwise. We aim to create opportunities for people to share self-published works and host events that encourage ideas to spill out onto paper in pictures and words. We believe that by embracing the urge to create and sharing ideas there can be a more robust and formidable local zine community that extends beyond bookstores and bedrooms. L.A. Zine Fest is an opportunity for Southern California’s zinesters to come together in one place to meet and exchange ideas with those from all over the country.
Kat Philbin's "CodSwallop" & Listen04's "Child's Play" will open on March 5th at Daniel Rolnik Gallery's new location in the Culver City arts district from 6pm - 11pm.

His original paintings and murals have been showcased in art fairs such as SCOPE Miami and the LA Art Show, The US OPEN OF SURFING, and on the expansive grounds of Hurley's orange county campus.

TROLLS -- written and drawn by humor cartoonist Michael Aushenker with a foreword by Lucky Lehrer of The Circle Jerks -- is lingo for "Air Traffic Controllers" and tells the story of Edward & Wayward, two slackers working the control tower at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix. On a weekend that their supervisor Perlmutter is out, Edward & Wayward decide to clock in a double-shift in order to make more bucks. While there, they decide to invite the cute girls from Security and throw a little party. However, they're so tired from their double-shift, they fall asleep. The party rages out of control as nobody's watching the planes....
Michael Aushenker is the founder of Cartoon Flophouse Humor Comics (CartoonFlophouseComics.com) and has contributed comics to HEAVY METAL magazine and Fantagraphics. He has also written issues of BART SIMPSON (Bongo), GUMBY'S GANG STARRING POKEY (Gumby Comics) and is the lead writer on Acme Ink's biographical line of comics RNR COMICS including the issues SLAYER, JUDAS PRIEST, EXODUS and GWAR.
